Fuerza Regida pushes boundaries once again, expanding into film with “Como Estrella,” the official theme song for CELDA 211, Netflix’s highly anticipated new series. Teaming up with Calle 24 on a track written by acclaimed songwriter Armenta, the band brings its signature sound to a gripping narrative. CELDA 211 premieres exclusively, today February 5, and “Como Estrella” is now available on all digital streaming platforms HERE. CELDA 211 is an adaptation of Francisco Pérez Gandul's novel, directed by Jaime Reynoso and Gerardo Naranjo. The six-episode series, set within a Mexican context, dives into the intense events of January 1, 2023, at a Ciudad Juárez penitentiary, offering an action-packed and emotional journey. "Como Estrella" serves as an anthem of perseverance, gratitude, and tribute to those facing hardships or loss. Working with Calle 24, a Chihuahua native, added deeper meaning to this powerful story of hope and resilience.
